DigiKey awarded Global Distributor of the Year; Avnet, iConnexion, Mouser, named best regional distributors
Harwin has announced the winners of its Distributor of the Year Awards, with DigiKey declared the Global Winner 2026.
On announcing the award, Harwin highlighted DigiKey’s exceptional performance to its business across multiple regions and helping to drive year-on-year growth across all territories.
DigiKey also took home a second trophy: Global e-Commerce Distributor, 2026. Regional winners were Avnet, named Distributor of the Year for Europe, iConnexion, Distributor of the Year for Asia, and Mouser, Distributor of the Year for the Americas. Additionally, the Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year, selected by Harwin’s US team, went to JF Kilfoil.
5 Star Awards, awarded to individuals whose contributions go significantly above and beyond, were presented to Jeff Ziegler (JF Kilfoil) for his work in the Americas and Ray Zhang (iConnexion) in Asia. In Europe, two 5 Star Awards were presented: Daniel Ostermeir (TTI) and Carlos Sanchez (Avnet).

On presenting the Asian Distributor of the Year to iConnexion, Harwin’s Managing Director, Asia, Mike Tiong said: “iConnexion has consistently delivered outstanding performance across sales growth, design-in achievements and customer coverage, positioning them as Harwin Asia’s most effective distribution partner throughout the last year.”
The distributor’s strong technical sales capability and proactive customer engagement, which have contributed directly to multiple project breakthroughs across APAC, were also highlighted.
Tiong also presented the 5 Star Award to iConnexion’s Ray Zhang and cited his exceptional performance in leading and securing multiple key defense-related projects in the region. Zhang’s proactive engagement, technical competence and strong customer management, which resulted in multiple successful design-ins were also noted.
