Arduino’s GSM 1400 on Hologram’s Network

MKR-GSM-1400Arduino’s preferred board for Internet of Things (IoT) projects is suitable for users with minimal networking experience

Arduino’s MKR GSM 1400 is designed to offer cost-effective and practical solutions for users seeking to add global system of mobile (GSM) connectivity to their projects. This is perfect for users who have minimal experience in networking. It is based on the Atmel SAMD21 and SARAU201 GSM module. This board can be powered with a lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) battery or an external 5 V source and switches from one source to another automatically.

The MKR GSM 1400 comes with a rich set of I/O interfaces, GSM communication, 32-bit computational power, and the ease-of-use of the Arduino integrated development environment (IDE) software for code development and programming. These features make this board the preferred choice for emerging IoT battery-powered projects in a compact form factor. The MKR GSM 1400 can be set up on Hologram’s network using the Hologram tri-cut global IoT SIM card.
