Chattanooga, TN, US, 6 October 2026 – Cleanova, a leading global manufacturer of advanced filtration solutions, today announced the strategic acquisition of California-based SV Techsol, expanding its engineering and environmental control capabilities for semiconductor manufacturing and other ultra-clean applications.
Founded in the heart of Silicon Valley in 1990 by John Dryden, SV Techsol designs and manufactures highly engineered customized fan filter units (FFUs) and tool-integrated environmental modules for advanced semiconductor equipment manufacturers. Its solutions are used within wafer fabrication, metrology and inspection equipment, where precise control of particles, temperature, airborne molecular contamination and electrostatic discharge is critical to process performance and product quality.
The acquisition builds on Cleanova’s addition of TES-Clean Air Systems (TES) and Airflotek in December 2025, further strengthening its capabilities across semiconductor and ultra-clean controlled environments. Solutions now include customized temperature controlled FFUs, ionization and electrostatic discharge systems, and chemical filter systems for airborne molecular contamination control environments.
Together, SV Techsol, TES and Airflotek form a core part of Cleanova.NEXUS™, Cleanova’s platform for filtration and environmental control technologies in semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers and other highly controlled environments.
Chris Cummins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cleanova, commented:
“SV Techsol brings highly specialized engineering expertise that complements the capabilities we have already established through TES and Airflotek. Its technologies are designed directly into semiconductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, where contamination control, thermal stability, and reliability are fundamental to performance.
“Bringing these businesses together gives customers access to greater engineering depth, manufacturing capacity, and technical support across a broader range of semiconductor filtration and environmental control requirements. We are delighted to welcome John and the SV Techsol team to Cleanova.”
John Dryden, Founder and President of SV Techsol, commented: “I started this company in 1990 with a simple belief: engineer it right, never let the customer down, and the work will follow. That is exactly what our team has done for more than thirty years.
“In Cleanova, I have found a partner that understands what we do and shares our commitment to technical excellence and customer service. This is the right home for our people and the right next chapter for our customers. With Cleanova’s resources, global reach and manufacturing capabilities this team will grow and innovate in ways that we could not achieve alone. I could not be more excited about what comes next.”
