What are the difference between MOSFET and JFET?

MOSFET JFET
The MOSFET is the abbreviation of metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor. The JFET is the abbreviation of junction field effect transistor.
The MOSFET has only one p-n junction. It has two p-n junctions.
Drain resistance is high. Drain resistance is low.
MOSFETs can be operated in either depletion or in enhancement mode. The JFETs can be operated in the depletion mode.
The MOSFET is good for high noise applications, switching applications etc. The JFET is good for low noise application, low capacitance and high resistance input.
It has very high input impedance. It has high input impedance.
The MOSFET have insulated gate structure. The JFET does not have insulated gate.
It has reverse body diode. It has no reverse body diode.
