RF semiconductor products are among the most complex to design and manufacture, requiring tight process control, proven RF platforms, and deep manufacturing expertise. The GF India–Fermionic partnership demonstrates that Indian startups can navigate this complexity end‑to‑end.
Fermionic selected GlobalFoundries as its manufacturing partner based on GF’s differentiated RF technology portfolio, including RF-SOI and other advanced RF platforms, which align closely with Fermionic’s roadmap across satellite communications, defense, and infrastructure applications. GF also brings deep manufacturing expertise for RF technology and a silicon-proven ecosystem with end-to-end support capabilities for startups transitioning from design to production.
Fermionic is part of an early cohort of Indian fabless companies under Government of India’s Design Linked Incentive (DLI) that are moving from design validation to production‑ready silicon.
