The defining capability of the Infineon XENSIV TLx49012 is a unique system self-calibration function that eliminates the need for customer-developed calibration routines and external reference encoders, reducing development effort and cost across the entire product lifecycle, from system design to end-of-line testing. Fully automatic initial calibration and continuous on-chip compensation enable both on-axis and off-axis mounting configurations, giving system designers meaningful flexibility without added complexity.
The family delivers best-in-class angle accuracy of less than 0.1° and an ultra-low latency of 1.5 µs, making it well suited for high-speed and highly dynamic motor systems where precise, real-time rotor position feedback is critical. The supported magnetic field range of 20 mT to 120 mT provides broad compatibility with standard magnet configurations used across motor platforms in both markets.
