Under the theme “More than diodes,” the company will demonstrate the breadth of technologies it provides for advanced electronic systems. Four demonstration platforms will highlight mains-to-48V conversion, 48V-to-lower-voltage conversion, motor control, and circuit protection. Together, these demonstrations will show how semiconductor selection influences power efficiency and system performance, highlighting the contribution of Diodes technologies throughout the signal and power chain. The booth will also feature numerous displays illustrating the breadth of the company’s portfolio, from power conversion, protection, and sensing to isolation, interface, timing, and connectivity technologies.

The 48V power tree demonstration will illustrate power conversion from a 48V input to 12V and then to lower-voltage rails, including 5V and 3.3V. Visitors will observe current flow through different stages and see the impact of component selection on conversion efficiency. The demonstration reflects the increasing importance of 48V architectures in automotive and industrial applications, where efficient conversion and distribution of electrical power are key design considerations.

A separate motor control demonstration will show the role of Diodes’ power and analog components around a third-party microprocessor and provide visibility of motor efficiency during operation. A circuit protection demonstration will compare different approaches to reverse battery protection, from a simple diode implementation through to a higher-efficiency approach based on an ideal diode controller, enabling visitors to explore the trade-offs between component cost and power efficiency.

Diodes will use its presence at electronica 2026 to unveil the latest in power-conversion technology addressing the requirements of data center and AI computing infrastructure. Visitors will also be able to explore examples from across the Diodes portfolio through application-focused displays for automotive, industrial, and data center systems. These will cover technologies including DC-DC conversion, MOSFET and bipolar transistor packaging, lighting, Hall-effect sensing, USB Type-C® power delivery, isolated gate driving, digital isolation, ReDrivers™, server interfaces, and PCI Express® clock generation.

Emily Yang, SVP Sales & Marketing, Diodes Incorporated, said: “As power architectures become more complex, customers need solutions that improve efficiency across the complete system, not simply at the component level. At electronica, we will demonstrate how Diodes’ expanding analog and power portfolio helps engineers address conversion, control, and protection challenges across automotive, industrial, and data center applications.”
