  • The OV7670 OV CMOS image sensor provides full-frame windowed 8-bit images in a wide range of image formats.
  • The sensor is controlled using a Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB) which is an I2C interface with a maximum clock frequency of 400Khz.

Features of CMOS OV7670 Camera Module

  • The operating voltage of this sensor is 3.3V DC.
  • The resolution of camera is 640×480 VGA.
  • Optical Size could be considered as ⅙ inch.
  • Power Consumption is nearly 60mW.
  • High-quality F1.8 / 6mm lens is used.
  • Output support for Raw RGB (GRB 4:2:2, RGB565/555/444), YUV (4:2:2) and YCbCr (4:2:2) formats.
  • S/N Ratio is the signal to noise ratio of the sensor at 46 dB.
  • The maximum Image Transfer rate is 30 FPS for VGAM.
  • Supports image sizes: VGA, CIF, and any size scaling down from CIF to 40×30.
  • Standard SCCB interface compatible with I2C interface.
  • Lens shading correction Flicker (50/60 Hz) auto-detection.
  • Saturation level auto adjust (UV adjust).
  • Edge enhancement level auto adjust.
