New 100 kW power shelf and compact power converters address AI’s power and cooling demands
DENVER, Colo., October 14, 2025 — Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions, showcases its latest innovations in power conversion at the 2025 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, booth C33, taking place Oct. 13 – 16 at the San Jose Convention Center. Advanced Energy’s new power solutions are designed to help data center operators meet the rising energy and cooling requirements of AI infrastructure—delivering higher efficiency and reliability.
At the event, Advanced Energy displays a new 100 kW, 48V ORv3 HPR-compliant power shelf, featuring six 18 kW power supply units and an integrated power management module in a 1OU form factor. Designed to enable the upcoming transition to HVDC power architecture, this solution achieves over 97.5% efficiency, reducing wasted energy in GPU-intensive environments. Additional generations of ORv3 shelves, ranging from 18 kW to 72 kW, are also on display.
The company also presents board-mounted DC-DC converters, such as the recently launched NDQ1600 and NDQ1300, with up to 98% efficiency for converting 48V to 12V applications. M-CRPS compliant, Titanium efficiency power supplies, including a new 3.6 kW CSU3600AT and 1.8kW CST1800AT, are also featured at the show.
“AI’s rapid growth is reshaping data center requirements,” said David Richmond, senior vice president, High Volume Products, System Power. “Our focus is on power conversion technologies that improve density and minimize energy loss, enabling more sustainable and reliable AI infrastructure.”
