San Diego, CA – January 6th, 2026 – Silanna Semiconductor, a global leader in analog innovation, Today announced a strategic franchise agreement with Avnet. Under the terms of the deal, Avnet will market, distribute and provide technical design support for Silanna Semiconductor’s complete family of products to engineering teams in the Americas.
The agreement is effectively immediately and includes Silanna’s Plural™ 10- to 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs); and its FirePower™ range of ultra-efficient laser drivers for LiDAR and rangefinder applications.
Silanna’s Plural ADC offering includes four resolution product families, 10-bit, 12-bit, 14-bit and 16-bit with sample rates from 5-250Msps. Each product family is based on a unique and patented ResolutionEngine™architecture whereby a single die can be factory configured post silicon manufacturing to support 40+ products. More than 50% of Plural’s 150+ products are exact pin-for-pin drop-in replacements to products offered by decades-old legacy providers. Plural’s unique approach to building an expansive ADC offering enables dramatic cost savings and supply chain flexibility while delivering the high performance engineers required in their designs.
The FirePower laser driver IC family enables significant power, BOM and footprint reductions in LiDAR and range finder applications. This includes a 73% improvement in Vin-to-laser efficiency and large reductions in thermal management requirements to enable their use in a wide range of new markets – including battery-powered consumer and sports devices.
“Market consolidation has squeezed engineers into a corner. With only two legacy brands effectively controlling the ADC landscape, meaningful choice has become scarce—almost nonexistent,” said Patrick Moore, Vice President, Global Sales & Applications at Silanna. “Our factory-configurable ADC platform reverses this and delivers a broad range of products and innovations to a market eager for alternative solutions, cost reduction, and supply chain resiliency. Partnering with Avnet accelerates this effort—their technical expertise, exceptional customer relationships, and global reach allow us to deliver powerful alternatives to a market that has been waiting far too long for them.”
“Silanna’s differentiated approach brings added value to the market, and we’re delighted to partner with them as they continue to scale,” said Alex Iuorio, Senior Vice President, Supplier Development at Avnet. “Their high-performance 10- to 16-bit ADCs offer significant benefits for our customers, including reduced costs and shorter lead times. Avnet is committed to delivering technology solutions to our customers and we’re excited to partner with Silanna to provide analog signal processing solutions beyond those available from the legacy brands in the space”.
