Linear network Ckt Non-Linear network Ckt
A Linear circuit is one whose parameters are constant with time and they do not change with voltage or current and circuit obeys Ohm’s Law.  A Non Linear circuit is that circuit whose parameters change with voltage or current and circuit does not obey Ohm’s Law.
They obey the properties of ohm’s law. They do not obey the properties of ohm’s law.
The output characteristics of the linear circuit are between current and voltage.

The non-linear circuit, the output characteristic is like a curve line which is in between the voltage and current.

In the linear circuits, solving the circuit by using simple techniques, by using a calculator to solve and by comparing with the non linear circuit the linear circuit is easy to solve. In the non-linear circuits it is more complex than the linear circuit and there is more data, information is required to solve the non linear circuits.
The network can be obtained by using the law of superposition. The network does not follow the law of superposition.
The response of the various network elements is linear with respect to the excitation applied to them. The response of the various elements is not linear with respect to their excitation.
Examples of linear circuits are resistance, resistive circuit, inductor and inductive circuit, capacitor and capacitive circuit. Examples of nonlinear circuits are diode, transformer, iron core, inductor, transistor.
