Chennai, September 29 – In a significant milestone for India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem, Syrma SGS Technology proudly hosted the soft launch of Dynabook laptops at its state-of-the-art facility in Chennai. The event marked not only the beginning of a new chapter for Dynabook in India but also reinforced the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative, showcasing global technology being manufactured on Indian soil.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Wong Wai Meng, Managing Director of Dynabook, and Mr. Satendra Singh, CEO of Syrma SGS Technology, along with senior leadership teams from both organizations. Together, they inaugurated the launch with a symbolic ribbon-cutting and the switching-on of the first Dynabook laptop, signifying the start of local assembly and production.

Adding a touch of warmth and celebration, the dignitaries also joined in a cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating the partnership and the shared vision of bringing world-class computing technology to India.

This collaboration highlights Dynabook’s trust in Syrma SGS’s robust manufacturing capabilities and the shared commitment of both companies to delivering high-quality, locally manufactured products for Indian and global markets. It reflects a strong alignment of innovation, technology, and India’s growing position as a manufacturing hub for global electronics.
