Avnet Silica Unveils the Future of Embedded Tech with High Performance Demos at embedded world 2026

A diverse range of interactive displays will give attendees a real-world view of how emerging embedded technologies can be applied in practical industrial and IoT environments

Brussels, Belgium, 26 February 2026 – Avnet Silica, an Avnet company (NASDAQ: AVT), today announced details of its participation in embedded world, taking place between 10-12 March, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany.

At Hall 3A, Booth 111, Avnet Silica will focus on the future of embedded technology, with visitors able to see how embedded systems, AI, connectivity, sensors, and power come together to enable system-level, deployable innovation. The stand will host live demonstrations covering AI at the edge, vision, industrial sensing, secure connectivity, displays, wireless technologies, and power solutions, all built on scalable, production-ready platforms from leading technology partners.

An extensive team of Avnet Silica experts will also be available at the booth throughout the event for in-depth consultations and to discuss how the solutions on display can support and accelerate visitors’ next embedded designs.

Live demonstrations will include:

AI and compute

●       RA8 / RZG3E HMI compute platform for responsive graphics and high-efficiency edge processing for advanced HMI and industrial control systems

●       NXP S32M27x motor control MCU for precise motor-control with integrated functional safety to boost performance and efficiency in motion-centric applications

●       Microsoft Windows IoT on AMD Ryzen Embedded for powerful, Windows-based edge AI and compute workloads

●       Ultralytics YOLO NPU-accelerated vision AI (AMD + DEEPX) for high-throughput vision inference at the edge, ideal for real-time inspection or analytics applications

●       NXP multimodal GenAI for local visual understanding and natural-language interpretation for smarter autonomous decision-making without cloud dependency

AI and sensing

●       onsemi sensor-driven robotic hand showing how position and navigation sensors allow mobile robots to perform increasingly complex and sophisticated tasks

●       STM gesture-control demo for fast, on-device computer-vision processing for tasks such as numberplate recognition and intuitive gesture interaction

●       Microchip Smart Distance Sensor + BLDC motor platform for reliable near-field detection and adaptive motor performance to support safer automation and machinery

Networking

●       Marvell Ironman PRP/HSR high-availability industrial networking platform for uninterrupted communication in mission-critical systems

Wireless and embedded

●       Renesas 7” display with integrated RFID reader and Wi-Fi 6 camera – secure user verification and wireless connectivity in a compact embedded platform

●       LTE Cat-1bis with SGP.32 eSIM and UWB real-time location system for industrial-grade IoT deployments with secure cellular communication and precise positioning accuracy

Sensing

●       Diodes Hall-sensor demo looking at magnetic sensing for position, motion and proximity applications across industrial and consumer systems

●       Nexperia real-time power flow and multi-load monitoring solution for transparent energy management
There will also be a dedicated Avnet Silica-Microsoft stand at embedded world, highlighting how software-led system design can act as an architectural driver in modern industrial applications. Visitors to Hall 3A-101 will discover the Avnet Silica-Microsoft stand adjacent to the main Avnet Silica booth, where discussions will centre on how software strategy will impact industrial system development, including hardware structure, scalability, cybersecurity, compliance requirements, and long-term sustainability.

Key visitor areas will include Windows IoT Enterprise, AI and AI at the Edge, Cloud-to-Edge system design, next-generation industrial compute platforms, and software platforms and services. The stand will further present:
