IESA Announces New Executive Council for FY2026–27; Navin Bishnoi Appointed Chairperson

Bengaluru, April 15, 2026: The India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), India’s apex industry body for the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector, today announced its new Executive Council (EC) for FY2026–27, with Mr. Navin Bishnoi taking over as Chairperson. The announcement was made at the IESA Annual Members Meet in Bengaluru, attended by over 200+ industry leaders and stakeholders.

Mr. Naveen brings over 25 years of global leadership experience across semiconductor design, EDA, and infrastructure silicon. Currently AVP and India Country Manager at Marvell Technology, he has held leadership roles at IBM, Freescale, Cadence, and Texas Instruments, with deep expertise spanning AI/ML, cloud, networking, and automotive domains.

Speaking on his appointment as the newly appointed Chairperson of IESA, Mr. Navin Bishnoi said: “It is a profound honour to assume the chairpersonship of IESA — one that brings with it not only a sense of pride, but a deep sense of purpose and responsibility. “India stands at an inflection point—moving decisively from semiconductor ambition to large-scale execution. As Chairperson of IESA, my priority is clear: enable time-bound outcomes across the value chain—design, manufacturing, OSAT, and supply chain resilience. IESA will work closely with stakeholders to translate policy momentum into measurable industry outcomes—capacity, capability, and competitiveness.” He added.

New Executive Council (FY2026–27)

The EC includes leaders from across the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, representing design, manufacturing, equipment, and system companies. The Executive Council (EC) for 2026–27 comprises Navin Bishnoi (Chairperson IESA, AVP & India Country Manager at Marvell Technology ), Pradeep Kumar Vajram (Vice Chairperson , IESA and Founder 7Rays Semiconductors), Sudhir Naik (Treasurer, IESA and CEO of N Cube Semicon Private Ltd), Anand Kumar (Managing Director, STMicroelectronics India), Hitesh Garg ( Country Manager NXP), Dr. Hemang Shah (Senior Director, Applied Materials – Government Affairs), Sundeep Gupta ( VP , Qualcomm), Raghu Panicker (CEO, Kaynes SemiCon), Vivek Tyagi (Managing Director, Analog Devices India), Akshay Aggarwal (Senior Director, Engineering, MediaTek), along with Ashok Chandak (President and CEO) and Ruchir Dixit ( Advisor, IESA and Country Manager , Siemens EDA).

Ashok Chandak, President IESA said, “India’s semiconductor and electronics journey has entered its most decisive execution phase. We are now witnessing tangible outcomes—OSAT/ATMP facilities moving into commercial production, ISM2.0 announced, ECMS-led projects gaining approvals, and rapid scaling of electronics manufacturing.

India’s semiconductor consumption market continues to grow rapidly and expected to reach $103 Bn by 2030 enabling $400 Bn of Electronics Manufacturing, supported by strong domestic demand, global supply chain realignment, and policy support.

With the transition toward ISM 2.0, India is poised to deepen its position across design, fabrication, ATMP/OSAT, and supply chain ecosystems. IESA will continue to act as a key enabler—driving policy advocacy, global partnerships, talent development, and innovation-led growth.
