The partnership will focus on developing next-generation low-light image sensors and imaging modules for applications across defence, homeland security, industrial automation, surveillance, aerospace, automotive, and other mission-critical sectors. By combining RRP Electronics’ semiconductor manufacturing capabilities with Orvis Semi’s expertise in imaging technologies, the companies aim to accelerate the commercialization of advanced indigenous imaging solutions.

Beyond product development, the collaboration is expected to strengthen India’s domestic semiconductor value chain by fostering local innovation, technology development, and manufacturing capabilities in high-value imaging components. The initiative aligns with the country’s broader vision of building a self-reliant electronics and semiconductor ecosystem while creating opportunities for future exports of advanced imaging technologies.
