The TE MINI FAKRA connector system provides up to 9 GHz RF performance and supports data transmission rates of up to 24 Gbps. Designed for modern automotive architectures, it helps address increasing bandwidth requirements in applications such as more advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), camera systems, V2X communication, antenna modules and digital cockpit platforms.

Beyond high-speed performance, the compact connector system supports vehicle packaging and manufacturing efficiency through a space-saving design, enhanced mating robustness, controlled insertion force and protection against contact damage during assembly.

“Vehicle manufacturers continue to face the challenge of integrating more data-intensive technologies into increasingly space-constrained vehicle architectures,” said Eylem Kolukisa, product manager, TE Connectivity. “The TE MINI FAKRA connector system combines high-speed connectivity, compact design and robust assembly performance to help meet these evolving requirements.”

Key features and benefits of the TE MINI FAKRA connector system include:

  • Supports RF performance up to 9 GHz* and data rates up to 24 Gbps*
  • Compact footprint for space-constrained vehicle application
  • Enhanced mating robustness with anti-stubbing features
  • Supports efficient assembly through controlled insertion force
  • Designed for compatibility with established Mini FAKRA interfaces and cavities
  • Supported by TE’s global manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities.

The TE MINI FAKRA connector system is designed for a wide range of automotive applications, including:

  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Surround-view and front-facing cameras
  • Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication
  • Antenna modules
  • Digital cockpit and infotainment systems

The TE MINI FAKRA connector system is available globally. For additional product information, visit TE.com or contact your local TE Connectivity representative.
