Avnet Silica recognised by NXP as fastest growing distributor in the EMEA region in 2018

World-leading semiconductor maker awards distributor for outpacing growth across the distribution network and scoring highly in key performance indicators in demand creation

Poing, Germany, 21 August 2019 – Avnet Silica, an Avnet company (NASDAQ: AVT), today announced it has been presented with the award for the fastest growing distributor in 2018 across the EMEA region by NXP Semiconductors N.V., one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers worldwide.

Avnet Silica garnered the award for achieving outstanding sales growth in 2018 by growing more than twice as much as NXP’s overall distribution business in the EMEA region. In addition, Avnet Silica made important inroads in the area of demand creation, as well as driving sales in key vertical markets.
