Hoofddorp, Netherlands, 6th October 2026: Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd unveil new sensor and power products alongside immersive demonstrations showing how its essential technologies for the age of AI are enabling smarter mobility, intelligent machines and more intuitive human-machine interaction at electronica 2026, taking place from 10th to 13th November at Messe München. Visitors to Hall C4, Booth 179 will be able to explore Murata innovations across technology areas spanning Mobility, AI & Robotics, Connectivity, Wellness & Wellbeing, Environment, Data Centers and IC technologies. Murata will also introduce its digital service for circuit design.

New Isolated Power Solution for SiC MOSFETS

At electronica, Murata will launch its new MGJ2T2 series of isolated gate-drive DC-DC converters for high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) power applications. Designed to combine high isolation performance with strong immunity to electrical noise, the series will support demanding power-conversion applications including energy storage and distribution, motor drives and EV charging. Further product details will be announced during the show.

New Inertial Sensor Component with Integrated Microcontroller

Murata will also introduce SCI36LT Series, a new six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) high-performance inertial measurement solution with an integrated microcontroller able to run complex sensor fusion algorithms. The device combines the sensor with required passive components and an MCU in a single compact LGA package. The sensor is designed to accurately measure movement and can utilise Murata’s proprietary sensor fusion algorithm to determine orientation in pitch, roll and yaw. Further product details will be announced during the show.

New Input Interfaces for the AI Era

Within the AI & Robotics area, Murata will demonstrate two new approaches to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Developed in collaboration with start-up Melt Interface Technologies, a hand-tracking demonstration uses Murata’s compact, high-sensitivity LF antennas at the fingertips to precisely capture hand and finger movements without relying on external cameras. By turning detailed human motion into digital data, the technology could provide a new source of real-world training data for Physical AI, with potential applications ranging from robot learning and teleoperation to the transfer of skilled human techniques.

Murata’s mask voice clip uses a Picoleaf™ piezoelectric film sensor to capture speech by detecting vibrations of the mask generated by the speaker’s voice. As voice becomes an increasingly important input for AI, this technology enables clear voice input even in noisy environments such as factories.

Together, the demonstrations highlight Murata’s exploration of next-generation input interfaces that connect human motion and voice to AI.

Sensing and Connectivity for Smarter Mobility

Murata’s mobility exhibits will cover sensing, connectivity and power technologies for automotive applications.

Outdoor demonstrations will showcase a range of sensing and connectivity technologies in live vehicle environments, including precise positioning developed with Hexagon and Murata sensor technologies for headlight levelling and GNSS-free positioning.

Murata will also demonstrate camera-radar sensor fusion for advanced in-cabin sensing, developed in collaboration with Smart Eye. The demonstration combines Murata’s automotive-grade 60 GHz radar technology with Smart Eye’s AI-powered interior sensing and fusion software for Driver Monitoring Systems, Occupant Monitoring Systems and Child Presence Detection.

A live vehicle-to-everything (V2X) demonstration will also show communication in a moving vehicle.

Inside the exhibition hall, Murata will demonstrate its Ultrasonic Clearing Device (USCD), an innovative application of its piezoelectric technology. By generating ultrasonic vibrations on the lens of camera, USCD is designed to help maintain sensor visibility in bad weather conditions, supporting the availability and reliability of sensing systems for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and future automated driving applications.

Wireless Technologies Connect Devices and Infrastructure

The Connectivity area will feature a demonstration of an indoor tracking device combining BorealPath™ by Nordic Inertial positioning technology that integrates a Murata inertial measurement unit, together with Murata’s Wi-Fi HaLow™ Type 2HK and Type 2HL modules for long-range, low-power wireless communication of location and device information. The demonstration will showcase how inertial navigation and Wi-Fi HaLow™ can be combined to support indoor and GNSS-challenged tracking applications. Alongside the indoor tracking demonstration, Murata will also showcase its ultra-wideband smart door lock solution and compact LoRa™ wireless modules.

Haptics and Wearable Technologies

In the Wellness & Wellbeing area, Murata will demonstrate echorb (Wonder Stone). Using its 3DHaptics technology, Wonder Stone creates tactile sensations that mimic the feeling of being pushed or pulled, allowing directional information to be communicated through the hand. The demonstration explores how these different forms of feedback could support more intuitive navigation and guidance, including applications for visually impaired users.

The Smart Ring demonstration explores 3D tracking and positioning using Sensoryx’s tracking solution, which combines an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) with Murata’s ultrasound technology. Developed collaboratively by Sensoryx and Murata, the demonstration uses Murata’s ultrasound technology to measure distance, while the IMU provides orientation and movement data. Together, these technologies support accurate pointing, writing and 6DoF motion tracking in a compact wearable form.

Murata will also demonstrate its compact Microblower technology for wearable devices – using a cuff-based wearable demonstration to showcase its inflation capability. Despite its small size, the Microblower provides effective air-pressure performance while operating quietly with minimal vibration, helping enable new possibilities for compact wearable applications.

Power and Components for AI Data Centers and Robotics

Murata will also present power, battery and passive-component solutions addressing the efficiency and reliability requirements of AI data centers and robotics. A dedicated IC area will also feature Murata semiconductor and integration technologies, including embedded solutions, optical communication solutions and a reference-design demonstration.

Visit Murata During electronica

Visitors to electronica 2026 can explore these innovations at Murata’s stand (Hall C4 – 179), where experts will be available to discuss application requirements and demonstrate how Murata’s technologies enable smarter mobility, intelligent machines and more intuitive human-machine interaction.
