Cape Canaveral, FL – 30 September — Space Forge, the advanced materials company pioneering semiconductor manufacturing in space, today announced that its “Microgravity Semiconductor Manufacturing: Enabling Extreme Performance Electronics” solution has achieved “Awardable” status through the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Expedited Research Innovation System (ERIS) Marketplace.
Space Forge’s solution provides a pathway to manufacturing advanced semiconductor materials in the microgravity environment, with a focus on enabling ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductors with the potential to support applications ranging from RF and power electronics through to quantum technologies.
