Tessenderlo-Ham, Belgium, 3 September 2026 – Melexis will bring an extensive range of advanced sensing, protection, and driver technologies to electronica 2026. Visit the team at Booth C6.139 from 10 to 13 November in Munich to see demonstrations of high-voltage power conversion, automotive safety, robotics innovations, thermal management and much more.

Rethinking Power Efficiency & Battery Safety

With high power comes great protection. As power architectures push into higher voltages, wide-bandgap devices allow systems to run faster and lighter, but unwanted voltage spikes and high-frequency noise often stand in the way. Taking center stage, the MLX91299 is a breakthrough silicon-RC snubber engineered to suppress voltage spikes and ringing right at the switching components, boosting reliability across EV powertrains, DC-DC converters, and even 800 V data-center infrastructure.

Safety goes hand-in-hand with power. Melexis brings high-voltage battery safety to the forefront with high-accuracy current sensing and an expanded early-fault detection lineup. By introducing hydrogen (H2) sensing alongside pressure and temperature detection, engineers can identify subtle battery anomalies far earlier to prevent thermal runaway conditions. Complementing this is Triphibian® pressure sensing, which seamlessly measures liquids, gases, and frozen media to keep coolant loops operating at peak thermal efficiency.

Moving to vehicle dynamics, Melexis presents its latest magnetic and inductive position sensors. Together, these complementary technologies deliver the accurate, redundant feedback needed for responsive control in braking, steering, and safety-critical X-by-wire systems.

Enabling Precision Motion and Robotic Interaction

In the dedicated robotics zone, Melexis will feature the Tactaxis® fingertip module in a live cobot demonstration. By providing delicate contact awareness, it gives collaborative robots a human-like sense of touch without complex design overhead.

Robotic movement is further refined through magnetic and inductive encoders, delivering compact angular position feedback for smooth joint motion. Meanwhile, Melexis’ motor driver family shows how engineering teams can achieve miniature, intelligent, smooth motion control across a complete hand. Visitors can also ask the team about Melexis’ evolution toward code-free motor control, delivering intelligent results without the need to write a single line of software.

Connecting Interfaces & Personal Tech

Everyday technology relies on responsive, intuitive touchpoints. Melexis will showcase its MeLiBu® LED driver technology, enabling dynamic, networked automotive lighting that animates modern vehicle interiors and exteriors while simplifying harness wiring.

In parallel, non-contact magnetic latches and switches show how to replace wear-prone mechanical parts in joysticks and seating controls with reliable, space-saving alternatives.

Extending beyond mobility, a dedicated lifestyle display highlights far-infrared (FIR) non-contact temperature sensors tailored for smart wearables and digital health devices, alongside compact sensing and driver packages designed to streamline e-bike designs.

Visitors are invited to meet the team at Booth C6.139 (semiconductor Hall C6) from 10 to 13 November in Munich.
