New Hyde Park, NY…A New Vertical Battery Holder designed for high shock and vibration applications utilizing the popular 2032 coin cells is the latest innovation added to the broad battery connectivity products available from Keystone Electronics Corp.

Engineered with a locking flange and polarity tab, this new holder firmly secures a 2032 coin cell battery while preventing incorrect battery insertion.  The slim-line design makes this rugged and lightweight holder ideal for minimal footprint in high-density PCB packages.

Cat. No. 1174 features a flame-retardant UL 94V-0 rated housing and Tin-plated Brass contacts providing low contact resistance and simplified thru-hole PCB mounting – ideal for PCB battery backup.  This holder accepts all major manufacturers’ batteries and is compatible with lead-free and traditional reflow processing.  Keystone’s extensive line of Battery Hardware for SMT and THM applications includes clips, holders, retainers and straps in a wide variety of configurations and sizes.

A major manufacturer of interconnect components and electronic hardware, the company’s capabilities include Stamping, Machining, Assembly, CNC and Injection Molding services.  Application and Engineering team assistance is available for product modifications and special designs.  ISO-9001:2015 certified and RoHS compliant, company headquarters are in the USA with offices in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.
