The partnership focuses on enabling reliable and secure data handling in demanding applications

Bronschofen, Switzerland/Nijmegen, Netherlands; July 9, 2026: Swissbit AG and Nexperia B.V. today confirmed their collaboration on secure, high‑reliability platforms for AI, cloud, and server applications. By combining Swissbit’s secure storage expertise with Nexperia’s semiconductor building blocks, the two companies support customers developing and scaling next‑generation AI accelerators, cloud and hyperscale data‑center platforms, and enterprise and edge server systems.

As AI workloads, cloud services, and enterprise computing environments continue to scale, system designers face increasing pressure to deliver higher performance while ensuring efficiency, security, and long‑term reliability. Swissbit and Nexperia address these requirements through a shared focus on quality and transparency aligned with the expectations of global technology customers.

Swissbit designs and manufactures secure storage and embedded memory solutions with a strong European base, emphasizing data security, lifecycle continuity, and predictable delivery over extended deployment periods. Nexperia complements this approach by supplying a broad portfolio of semiconductor components characterized by proven quality, robustness, and long-term availability.

Nexperia products are already integrated parts of Swissbit’s portfolio, supporting consistent performance and robustness in applications such as industrial automation, embedded systems, and data-centric infrastructure. By further aligning storage, protection, and system efficiency at the hardware level, the companies aim to simplify design processes and improve robustness in environments where long lifetimes and data integrity are critical.

“Reliable data storage is only as strong as the system surrounding it,” said Silvio Muschter, Group CTO at Swissbit. “Our collaboration with Nexperia supports our focus on delivering dependable storage solutions for applications where stability and trust are essential.”

At the system level, Nexperia’s products can support Swissbit designs with semiconductor building blocks commonly required in high‑performance compute and data‑centric infrastructure. Ultra‑low‑capacitance ESD and surge protection devices help safeguard high‑speed interfaces such as DDR and PCIe; efficient MOSFETs and small‑signal transistors contribute to stable and energy‑efficient power delivery; and level shifters and bus switches support reliable communication between controllers and sideband interfaces. Together, these technologies form an essential hardware foundation for robust, long‑lifecycle platforms where reliability and data integrity are critical.

“At Nexperia, we provide the essential semiconductors that enable reliable and efficient system-level solutions,” said Andrea Tranchida, Chief Sales Officer at Nexperia. “Swissbit is a strong example of how these components are applied in practice to enable robust and long-lasting designs.”

By aligning their strengths, Swissbit and Nexperia help customers translate performance and reliability requirements into practical, long‑lasting system designs.
