BENGALURU, India, August 12, 2026 — Electronic components supplier WIN SOURCE will exhibit at electronica India 2026, taking place September 16–18 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Visitors can find WIN SOURCE at Booth H5.C111 in Hall 5. At the show, the WIN SOURCE team will meet with industry professionals to discuss component procurement and inventory management amid supply volatility.
As the build-out of AI infrastructure accelerates, demand is rising for certain advanced memory and high-performance computing components. In the memory market, for example, Micron cited strong demand and tight industry supply in its fiscal second-quarter 2026 results.
However, the component market is not facing a broad-based shortage. For electronics manufacturers, a single bill of materials (BOM) may include components subject to very different supply-and-demand conditions. Some high-demand components may be subject to volatility in lead times and prices, while certain general-purpose components may undergo lifecycle changes or face discontinuation risks. Stock accumulated earlier to safeguard production may also gradually add to inventory pressure.
These divergent supply-and-demand conditions make procurement decisions more complex. Procurement teams need to determine whether a shortage reflects a temporary disruption or a longer-term change, verify that alternative parts meet technical specifications, quality standards and lifecycle requirements, and balance lead times, costs and inventory levels. A change to a single critical part number may also affect product qualification, production planning and final delivery.
At the exhibition, WIN SOURCE will discuss practical scenarios involving BOM risk analysis, sourcing scarce and discontinued components, alternative-part evaluation and inventory management. The discussions will focus on verifying component sources, identifying supply risks and balancing lead times, costs and inventory levels.
WIN SOURCE will also present digital tools for consolidating supply information, processing BOMs and integrating data with enterprise systems. These include NEXUS™ Solution, WinLink Solution Hub and WinConnect API. The company will demonstrate how these tools can help procurement teams consolidate component information and support evaluations based on technical specifications, quality requirements, delivery requirements and product lifecycle status.
WIN SOURCE maintains an office in Bengaluru, providing customers across South Asia with a local point of contact and project coordination support. For projects involving cross-regional sourcing, comparisons of data from multiple manufacturers or alternative-part verification, the Bengaluru team can work with sourcing teams in other regions to support further evaluation and follow-up.
Visitors to electronica India 2026 are invited to meet the WIN SOURCE team at Booth H5.C111 in Hall 5 and discuss component supply and procurement issues affecting their projects.
