Working Principle Of Radio Frequency Identification

The RFID system is divided into two parts i.e a tag or label and a reader.

RFID tags or labels are implanted with a transmitter and a receiver. This tag or label has two parts i.e. a microchip which stores and processes information and to gather this information another part i.e. antenna which is used to receive as well as to transmit the signal. This component contains the specific serial code and number for one specific object. To read such information encoded with a tag, a two-way radio transmitter and receiver called an interrogator or reader emits the signal by using this antenna component of the tag.

A passive RFID tag will use the radio energy wave to study and after storing that information it will send back that information to study. A battery-powered RFID tag is implanted with a small battery component that will power up the relay of information.
